The Animal Cardiology Center

The Animal Cardiology Center is New York City's premier veterinary cardiology-only practice. Led by Dr. Justin Carlson, we provide the highest standard of cardiac care to pets in the Manhattan, Brooklyn, and surrounding areas.

Dr. Carlson will begin seeing patients starting November 7th in our initial Chelsea location at 164 W 21st Street. If you would like to make an appointment for your pet, please give us a call at 212.722.0449 or send us an email at info@taccvets.com. We will be open 8 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.

Meet Dr. Justin Carlson

Recognizing the need for excellence in veterinary cardiology care in the New York City area, board certified veterinary cardiologist Dr. Justin Carlson founded TACC. The practice's core principles are specialization, excellence and compassionate care.
Dr. Carlson received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania, and then completed his rotating internship and cardiology internship in New York City. He went on to complete a cardiology residency at Texas A&M University. He also held a locum adjunct cardiology position at Texas A&M in 2013 and 2014.
For nearly a decade, Dr. Carlson has worked in New York City as a board certified cardiologist.
A fitness enthusiast, Dr. Carlson enjoys competing in the NYC Decathlon (D10), as well as rock climbing, hiking, and running. He lives in New York City with his partner and two dogs, Beau and Hyperion.
